WHAT’S IN A NAME?
“TRANSCRIPT TECHNICIAN” … You know what transcripts are—that’s your job! But how does a technician fit in? Think of what stereotypical technicians do: they make house calls for your appliances, heating and air conditioning. They fix your cars and portable electronics. Even electricians and plumbers can be called technicians. It all boils down to observing symptoms, finding a root cause, offering solutions to the problem(s), applying the fix(es) quickly (and hopefully cheaply), and getting out of the way so you can enjoy life.
And that’s also the Transcript Technician’s goal: analyze the transcript, find the problems, offer solutions, and apply the fixes. Always keeping the rules (English grammar and punctuation, not building code!) in mind, while being prompt and reasonably priced. And just like any other technician, YOU are still in control and decide what gets fixed and how.
Whenever your life needs help, you call a technician. Now it’s time your transcripts get the same treatment!

Engineering, construction, and scientific terms can present a real hazard, but you can trust the Technician to keep up to date with vocabulary and technology.
